Asio confusion

Hi guy's,I'm new to these forums so please bare with me.I need advise bad.I just got an Alesis control pad and it needs an Asio driver (which I apparently lack.I tried to look for one to download, and I'm not sure which one to get. There seem to be alot of different ones out there, some free, some not....HELP!!

Welcome to HRC, whether you need advice bad, or bad advice, we'll help.

I wouldn't recommend ASIO4ALL if there is an ASIO driver made for your product specifically. I would try the Alesis one first.

Which control pad do you have? Isn't there a driver download for it specifically?

Sure, now he went to download the free one, and I'll really get it if it doesn't work. You're right though. Look for the OEM first.
