SO, to those of you who were helping me with the wierd problem I have with sonar importing wav's and making them sound "skippy" "jumpy" "echoey"... First off THANK YOU for your suggestions and help...
Secondly...
I may have found the root of the problem...
Sonar6 is stretching or squishing the imported wav to fit a random tempo...

For instance, a drum line done @ 180bpm in fruity loops, will sound like it's in fast forward when it's been imported into a Sonar project with the same tempo of 180bpm... But it sounds perfectly fine if I change my sonar project tempo to 100bpm...
I have no clue why that is, or what's causing it... I must have turned something on or off to cause this to happen like this out of the blue...

But atleast now I'm not forced to be so vague, and I can point my finger at the problem and ask once again for help...

First go to the options/global tabs. Select the Audio Data tab. Make sure that you have the Always import Broadcast waves at time stamp checked. The down in the Fiole bit depthcs box make sure the Import Bit Depth is set to original. This is probably the culprit as you might be importing a different bit depth and its stretching it.

Also in the General tab make sure that Load Non-Sonar Files in Offset mode is not checked

Also make sure that you have the same checked when you import the file.

These two places are the only places you can make that kind of change. There is no other setting to stretch audio as it is imported. That is done manually after the file is imported.
