Jul 25, 2007 03:03 am I have the rack unit model of the VoiceLive. It's great for harmonies, but I don't know that it would be a good choice for you. Depends on what kind of sound you want. I'm not familiar with Blind Guardian I don't listen to that much metal really at least not the really heavy stuff. If it's along the lines of Death metal and such then no I don't think it would be what your looking for. If it's more along the lines of 80's hair band metal then if you have the right voice it probably would do well.

Jul 26, 2007 09:08 pm I would honestly suggest you go in and try one out. The thing can do a lot of stuff with vocals that is for sure. I'm not sure if it would work for that type of sound or not, I never got messing with one that far.
OD, we all know deep down in there you are a true head banging metal maniac. :-)

Jul 27, 2007 04:46 am I checked out Blind Guardian and the VoiceLive should work pretty well for that style, alot will depend on how close your singing ability and style is to those types of bands. In other words if you can sing like they can the VL will do a good job with harmonies but it won't make you sound like them, that part is up to you :)
If you have the vocal ability and range you would still be better off to sing the harmonies yourself but the VoiceLive & Voice Works do a decent job.
haha Noize, yeah it's lurking there, I'm just very picky about the metal I listen too LOL.
