Recorded New Acoustic Song for band

hey, first post, i recently recorded some tracks for my bands acoustic EP, one of them is called Enjoy The Ride and is on our myspace... www.myspace.com/mixtapeforheartache

take a look and give me some tips and feedback please?

p.s the other 2 songs called Brightest Star and Its Too Late were recorded in a proper studio.

bright star is good stuff. very pro, great work. amazin how we take our influcenes and do our own things. great work guys.

enjoy the ride, i liked alot more cause im an old school guy. once again great mix, and great work. the vox is almost on the edge of not workin, but i think thats what you were going for. good stuff

It sounds pretty well recorded. A bit much on the reverb on the guitar, but not too far over the edge. The vocal and guitar parts were mixed well together and sounded great. My only comment would be to get the vocal done again as there are a couple of places that the pitch is swaying out of tune a bit. Other then that it sounds like you did a pretty good job over all.

Also listened to the studio tracks as well. Nicely done as well. They surely sound done on a bit higher level, but that isn't always the way to go, and it can easily be done in a project studio with enough time and patience.

thanks! yeh when i say Brightest Star and It's Too late were recorded in a studio i ment like we paid someone to do it all for us, i only played guitar and backing vocals in those, didn't mix or anything :p

But thanks for the tips and compliments =]

i'm hoping to record some more acoutstic tracks soon
