okay ...
I have a mixer that has a Connection to USB.
It has gotten better lately but when I record tracks over previous ones it tends to be slightly of time from one track to another.

I think cubase and/or sonar has a 'adjust for latency' switch somewhere. that may do it.
If nothing else, you could just nudge the late one forward a bit, unless they're growing as you go, then that would be a little more difficult. I'm not sure how to fix it if that's the case.

Jul 22, 2007 01:44 pm What mixer/interface is it? Are you using WDM or ASIO drivers with it? Have you checked to see were your latency buffer is set?
All this is what can contribute to the latency you are hearing and is fixable for the most part with simple adjustments.
I will assume you are using the live monitoring so you don't hear the latency until playback. If that is the case then indeed there should be an adjustment for latency compensation in ACID somewhere in the audio options section.
Aug 18, 2007 09:06 am Acid does have an adjust for latency option in the options section. You can set it to automatically adjust or you can adjust the settings yourself. I use the automatic and it works fine for me
