propellerhead reason with Nuendo

hello, I am trying to get reason to play midi tracks in nuendo. I open reason and choose a reason instrument sampler as the out for the midi track but i do not hear anything when i play the tracks. I am used to using vst programs which work fine. However, when i choose the Reason device in nuendo some Rewire channels appear on the screen. I am not familiar with Rewire. Thanks

Reason is a ReWire instrument and needs to be opened as such in Nuendo. You will have to have a dedicated audio track or two for it to work properly. That is what the ReWire channels are for that are appearing. You need to set them up to be active as the output channel of Reason.
