Jul 06, 2007 01:02 pm No way, they saved the calf after it had been in the jaws of a half dozen lions AND an aligator... it's wounds will slow it down, become infected and it will become food again anyways so...

at around 142 it starts to get interesting. this bird can imitate anything, and some of the stuff it imitates is cool! check out the chainsaw

Jul 10, 2007 07:51 pm On the water buffalo, that is one wicked bunch of renegade water buffalo. I wonder what took them so long though as it was primarily one buffalo tossing the lions about.
And the lyrebird. Yes indeed they are a very creative bird as far as their ability to mimic any sound on the planet. They had one at the MN zoo that actually did a pretty convincing dog bark.
