May 26, 2007 06:27 pm Maybe she could replace my neighbor...who is now telling people I am threatening her...
Is she at least more sane than my psycho neighbor?

May 26, 2007 08:20 pm hehehe
Honestly, I have not had a fight outside a controlled environment in YEARS and NEVER started one. Though I could, I don't...honestly, I know very few trained fighters that are actually looking for fights outside the ring, cage or gym...typically some of the more pleasant people I know.

May 27, 2007 10:47 am It's bad when they're on the happy side and having fun with friends then turn on you like 'The Exorcist' head spinning demon over something trivial that was said or done earlier. And nothing you say or do helps.

sheeshhh come out to my neck of the woods....we got a few simi-"pro" wrestlers that are ALWAYS itchin' to scrap....dumb as bricks, and are easy to confuse, but will gladly whoop your azz.

May 28, 2007 08:34 am Didn't one of 'em move next door to DB?
May 28, 2007 10:59 am Yeah, WYD, wrestlers are more often than not, those type of "fighters"...boxers are often another (obviously not always in either case, I know nice guys in both of those groups) but martial artists I rarely ever see trying to pick fights or anything. The only martial artist exception I've noticed is the Hells Angels type groups that train simply to learn how to hurt people in easier, quicker ways...those people suck.

May 28, 2007 11:34 am Yow! Sounds like a money pit! Even if contracted for project work, I'm affraid that you would get nothing but spam advertisements after the fact.
I think I'll pass.

May 28, 2007 04:33 pm As dB stated indeed there are nice guys in both group's. If anyone remembers a wrestling tag team called The Road Warrior's. Animal and Hawk respectively were two of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. They were always present at charity events, giving and collecting money for just about anything they could get involved with. Part of it was to show kids that although they look mean and tuff on TV they are normal just like the rest of the world outside the ring. There were others as well that did more good things then most people knew about.
May 28, 2007 04:53 pm yeah, lol i think i had a vid of the road warrior's! no doubt, there's good ppl in all tyes....but i'm in rural tennessee, and was referin' to some real 'good ole boys' type...these people are out there aswell and are quite a site to see.
May 28, 2007 04:58 pm Road Warriors were show-man "Professional Wrestlers"...entirely different class of people...high school and college wanna-be tough guys (worse yet, has-been high school and college star wrestlers) are the worst for aggression.
It's all how you were trained, for offensive or defensive fighting...or, more accurately, offensive or defensive thinking...personally, I think offensively but act defensively...if I know a punch is going to be thrown, I would rather throw the first one...cuz it's the one that counts...however, I wouldn't throw it at all if I don't see it as an eminent outcome.
However, I have to admit, I constantly see people in stores, reaching for something on a shelf and think "ya know, if I grabbed their wrist and did [this], I would break their arm"...which I suppose makes me kinda weird.

May 28, 2007 09:11 pm No not weird at all dB. I look at women and....
Oh well that is weird as well, maybe yer right.
WYD, yep we went to the races on Saturday and it was the Eve of Destruction event they do like 4 times a season. The track is in a very rural farm community and the inbreds come out full force just for the normal races. But you get that Eve fo Destruction theme going and look the hell out. There was one family there that sucked up about 3 rows of general admin seating alone. about 400 pounds on inbred beef I must say. One gay son (so offense meant by that either) and like 6 daughters. Mom was at least 300 if not more. The son, well didn't look close enough but I'll say 200 along with his pa gong about 230. The rest of the beef was spread among 5 of the daughters with the odd one out actually being a gorgeous knock out. What was up with that?
But the point here is they were to loudest, meanest most obnoxious bunch of heathens I had ever seen there. Thank the lord I get comp reserved seating there or I woulda been out of there. We were far enough above em to stay outa harms way. But the pushing and shoving was just plain nasty as they plwed theri heard through the crowd.
Jun 06, 2007 04:30 pm Ahhh, the joy of crazy women ;-)
Bleak ... I often find, being married (and Scottish and having a Scottish wife) the answer is to bury one's heid in the fitba ..... wife takes the huff, no more arguments (as she wont speak to ya) then, bliss ensues ;-D
A cunning plan sir ;-)

Jun 06, 2007 05:58 pm Coco! Where ya bin, man? Good to see you.
Hey Bleak, just curious.....what kind of gear would you buy if you got the $1000?
I'm sure some Jungian/Freudian agenda can be extrapolated from it.
Oh, and I do have a kilt.
