Happy Mother's Day to all you mother f-ers.

Me and Ashley and company did the 5k Mohers Day Race for the Cure. We raised about $1,000. Thanks to all of ya! Pictures to be posted when I get them from my sister. Quite a moving event. I tried to get my pic with Julie Nelson for guitar jim's benefit, but couldn't, I did, however get a picture of her...we went under her as we started the walk, sadly, she didn't wear a skirt. :-D

Congrats again dB. I am sure Julie was thinking the exact same thing about the skirt!

Ya know, I am thinking of starting a little "guys for boobs" web site to try to get guys behind the breast cancer things and get out to the Race next year.

"boysforboobies.com" or "mansbreastfriend.com" or something like that. I noticed a lot of people yesterday sorta having from with plays on words and suggestive signs like that...maybe it'd work to help get support in the male community in an otherwise dominantly female group...

I dunno, just thinking out loud...it is a serious issue.

I told dad the story of your recent satellite purchase and getting our news and commenting on Julie...we walked under her to start, he looks up at her and just kinda mumbles..."yep"... :-D

Oh, and he and I hope to get out to a gig of yours this summer...he's a country music kinda guy.

Yes, it is becoming more common but as coolo stated it is still pretty rare.

dB, I'm all for that indeed. I think we would need to get Uncle Dude in on it thought to help write a theme song. :-)

I'd be up for a trip out to see Jim as well. Although we all know how much I hate country. :-P I'd take one for the team. :-O

Hey, me, you and my old man could have some fun for a night...I predict lots of beer getting consumed. I don't mind counry myself, but it has to be played by hot chicks...i.e. dixie chicks.

Jim???? Got any hot babes that'd come up and sing myabe Rocky Top or something??

But I don't think Jim plays to much country at his gigs if I remember right. Either way, it'd all be good.
