Parametric EQ/Harbal question

Is it necessary to EQ a mix, before mixdown to stereo, if you are gonna Harbal it after mixdown??

I find it absolutely necessary to EQ a mix, generally...EQing each individual track to achieve proper instrument separation is a totally different thing from EQing the final mix. Two totally different goals. That said, if your mix sounds good without EQing, then roll with it.
