Please Help. We have orible sound quality and need to improve it! We have a tascam 2488 ('05) a good guitar, and a drum setup of 2x bass drums, 2x toms, tx floor toms, and an assortment of cymbals and highhats. Our self-done uneducated redordings are available at www.myspace.com/aconstantending. We need advice on what to do in all ascpects of our recordings. Our Drum mics are - 3x sm57's, 2x shure rs25's, 2 AT vocal mics (only ones cabable of handling bass drum pressure), and two cymbl mics. WE NEED HELP ON EVERY ASPECT OF RECORDING!!!! ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRICIATED. More information may be given if asked - If you need info on what we did on a certain area of the recordings, just ask! _ Sorry if i sound like a total newb.

That'd be awesome. I have no idea what to do. I've been screawing with the drums this morning and have it alot better. But as for mixing, setting db, techniques, and almost everthing else has been guesswork and t&e. I know how to set everthing, but just dont' know what to set it to.
