is this possible? I want to take about 4-5 samples of my own voice singing a solid note, and then be able to use them with Cubase LE. I would like to be able to select MY VOICE as a bank. I figured I would use 4-5 samples of my voice for a more realistic reproduction. I have a Kawai midi capable keyboard, soundforge, winxp, firepod, mics etc... any help is greatly appreciated - thanks - gareth

Apr 21, 2007 08:46 am Hey there Gareth, welcome to the HRC.
Yes, you can sample any sound, and play it back. And I'm thinking there's tons of ways to do it. I'll give you mine.
I use FL studio, as a sample player. I can grab a wav file, and attach it to a channel in my software. Then it can be played by a midi keyboard.
I think there's plenty of sample players out there in free-land, so it shouldn't be hard to get one. Or you can go with a more involved software, of which project, reason, and live come to mind, as well as FL studio. You already have the equip, so just make a wave file, and bring it in.

Apr 23, 2007 10:18 pm Start here, www.kvraudio.com/get.php?...t=1&rpp=100 there are a good deal of free and shareware as well as pay for sampler/sample player VSTi's that will do exactly what you need. Simply drag the wav file of your voice in and assign a note and your on your way.
