Apr 09, 2007 04:57 pm Sounds OK on my questionable headphones (I'm at work). Can't hear anything glaringly wrong with it.

Apr 10, 2007 07:27 pm Gave a quick listen. I agree, nothing glaringly wrong at all. Instruments sit pretty well together and I like the singers voice, maybe not an opera singer but knows how to use what he's got and does so well. Good mix!
Apr 11, 2007 07:02 pm Thanks for the encouragement. Do you guys have any suggestions for ways to improve the mix?

Apr 11, 2007 10:23 pm Lemme see..
Guitars sound good.
Drums are clean, maybe little verb on the snare/toms to add some air, that's just how I mix though.
Other than that it sounds good.

Apr 19, 2007 09:54 pm Hey shuffle, nice tune indeed. I agree the vocalist did a fine job. I am hearing a lot of low end in the mix, or maybe a slight lack of midrange in there. It almost sounds like it effected the entire mix, like in the final stereo mix down?
The cymbals on the drums sound good and the snare cracks well so it might just be punching the kick and bass guitar a little with some mid range EQ. I agree that a little reverb would not hurt either. Maybe on the vocal and the drums.
Otherwise nicely written song indeed.

Apr 19, 2007 10:19 pm id think taking some low end off the snare. it sounds a little bogged down, maybe that just me. And maybe bring the vocals down a Tad?
other then that, great job. I'd have to agree the vocals sound good.
