Who wants to make $20?

My band is going to be doing a 3 or 4... or 12 (haha) song demo this weekend. I'm decent when it comes to multi tracking and all that, but could I interest anyone in mastering for me? E-mail me if you're interested.

DB will kill me for this... but there's some really cheap "mastering" DX's from www.Db-audioware.com ...the nice thing in your case is that there is a 21 day unlimited demo period on all the plugins :) I bought the pack ($100) and I really like the multiband limiter...

Be sure to use a professional CD as a reference too.. :)

heroes. save your money and try mastering yourself. its fun and you will learn a lot. especially for small time productions like the one you have going.

db audioware is pretty nice stuff...no killing going on for that, db audioware is in the links section and always has been...

Dude, I agree with stupe, the whole purpose of this site is to teach the members to do stuff for themselves...the way of the indie...have we failed you? ;-)

Yeah go on then

I enjoy doing the odd bit of mastering. Drop me an email ([email protected]) and we can arrange how you're gonna get the tracks to me (probably as 192kbps MP3's if that's cool with you)

Argh, if ya wanna get a decent job done, don't convert to mp3...snail mail a CD of wav's or something...mp3 looses so much of the high and low ends...

I know, but that's probably gonna be an issue with me living in the UK.

Also - if this is a band's first (or pre-signed) demo, then 192 MP3 quality is gonna be more than sufficient.

Hey, if you know how then do it as a 192 Ogg Vorbis - that's damn high quality for compressed audio data.

Hey No one, it's up to you.

You can either send me the tracks via the post on a CD or you can upload them as 192kBps MP3's (or email if that's easier)

Well, whichever way you want to do it - drop me a mail at the address further up the page.

Sounds good. We'll have them done monday or tuesday, and I'll have them on the 'net by wed night. I can upload them in .wav if you want tho... I don't know what kind of connection you have, but for me it's no trouble.

Mate, if you can, upload the files as .WAV's to a server and contact me when they are up. I can then go to my friends house to download them and burn them onto CD.

I can then upload the mastered versions once they are done.

I love the internet, and hi-speed connection's. I just hooked to cable instead of a T1 land line. Now I watch the thing wack stuff out at about 1.3m. It is just lovely.
