Hey guys, Just a quick question about drums


How do you TUNE THEM...

Our sound is much like bon Jovi (so we are told) and our drummer is really good and spot on the beat... but drum tuning... is THE thing we need help with...

anybody care to give some pointers, tricks or tips to a complete noob about drumtuning

Tuning is very important.

I actually have that exact model, and I have to say, it didn't do too much for me. Practice tuning. Experiment.

The tension dial might help you get in the ballpark, but it's still up to your ear to find your drum's sweet spot.

Basically, I tune the batter heads for attack and the resonant heads for sustain.
It's not hard, and it's much easier with new heads.

It's a very personal thing, some like pitch bend, some like a straight sound. As well as the type of music you play. As Josh said practise & experiment
