Hey does anyone have a a Alesis mulitmix 16 channel board and sonar 6 ? I am wondering if I should get this product and wondering if its worth my money to get it and if it will even work with sonar 6 right??

Mar 16, 2007 09:18 pm IS it the USB or Firewire version of the mixer you are looking at? In theory it should work with all DAW software. I reality it seems to have some problems with driver issues.
But several people have used them in both USB and Firewire version with success.
How many channels of audio do you need to record at once? Do you need them all on separate tracks? Those questions will help answer if it is the right device for you.

Mar 17, 2007 03:55 pm true that I am going to be doing band demos and such so 16 would be great to have the firewire port and move to that because the USB setup is just annoying and I want reliability and speed the transfer rate of firewire makes it possible to get the max out of my board as the USB goes crazy on me at times and dies not very reliable to....
