Mar 07, 2007 10:30 pm yeah, every time I change something in the main content area people weird out for a bit then move on like it was never any different...those that have been around here know I change things up from time to time just to study and learn from the clickthrus and human behavior analysis I gather by placing various things in various places...
sort of a human-animal study that interests me personally...
HRC started as, and always will be a test-bed for me on interaction and behavioral analysis...the regulars here rarely are part of it, as they know the site and the people to well, it's the casual passers by that end up being part of my silly little experiments.

I moved the top ad to the left to see what happens...WOW. This is why I find this behavior analysis fun and interesting.
But all you regulars know every couple of months stuff moves around, sometimes big, sometimes small...it's all for a self-indulgent reason of personal interest and trying things I read about or have noticed in other areas and want to see if it works here as well...the marketing side of me in action...

Mar 13, 2007 10:17 pm I remember HRC as just a plain old BBS type forum. That was eon's ago though. Back then it was just dB and myself answering all the questions. Not many members were as good about adding to the content back then. Now this place is full of answers from many different people. That is what makes it tick.
On the add thing, I don't personally notice any distraction from them. They seem to kind of float separately now and don't bother me in the least.
