Slowly trying to get it all working but now I cant preview any plugins.
Eg selecting a vocal track and adding a plugin then selecting 'preview' and the vocal track stops and cant hear anything.
Something simple?
i hope? :)

Hydrial69 may have a point there. It's possible that the section of the track being previewed is quiet (maybe a gap between lines). Try just adding the VST, and tweaking. You can always remove it if it's wrong.

hahaha no... I know im not a cubase guru but Im also not completely useless LOL :)
Yeah there is audio on the track for sure.
I can see and hear it up until i select the preview button on whatever plugin i want to try.

Hi!, I'm supposed to be working...that's why i'm typing this way...And why i dunno how to send private messages...

Whatever, I got exactly the same problem...But how the heck could you fixed it?!

VST Mapping Prob?

I couldn't find nothing with VST and map in the same sentence... And Google couldn't help...:(

BTW, I got Cubase SX, but Preview Button doesn't work for anything!

I tried Nuendo 3 and it works on it! Why not in Cubase?

Am I a Cubass? 8(

I don't know exactly what a vst mapping problem is, but it sounds like you need to tell your software where the VST folder is? C:\program files\steinberg\vst are where mine reside.
