I just got my disk mastered. I asked for a few tracks to run into each other (no dead space- silence) but alas there is silence between them and they dont 'flow'

Is there anything i can do on my computer to make this flow? I use sonar 4 and I think i have logic on my computer too.. not sure.

I was hoping to get this sent out for duplication but it still needs work. can anyone help?

dude, get your money back. It's not that hard to make the track run into each other, or right up next to each other so there is no silence.

but first, when you put the master cd into a regular cd player, is there that negative two seconds in between tracks, or is there actual silence at the end of the tracks? If it's the negative two seconds, you can just reburn the cd and select the option where the burner doesn't add those 2 seconds in between songs.

theres a 2 second track break between all the tracks.. how do i select the option to not have that??

I use WMP to burn my cds... please help..

In WMP, there's no option to set the gap between songs. That's always irritated me.

Try this freeware cd burning utility. It defaults to having no spaces between the songs:

I've used it for years. Its dead simple, CD-Text capable and reliable for CD burning. Plus its free.

The way I have done it at time is to just make one huge track and set markers between songs

I second this. The CD that we are currently working on is essentially one long track. I just use track markers (Sonar 6) and it works great. Actually, come to think of it, I used Adobe Audition but still, this is the way to go IMO. this allowed me to "overlap" the songs...blends if you will.

Most burning apps have the option as well. Nero for one does. You can adjust the delay at the beginning of every song with the exception of the first track. Simply set that delay to zero.
