Whats goin on folks. My lady's aunt has offered to sell her Wurlitzer Centura Pro Model 805 to me for $400 is that a good deal? Its in great condition. I cant really find any info on it. Its also got a tape deck on there which i have no idea what its used for. If any one has info or feedback i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Jan 03, 2007 08:31 pm Does the 'Tut' come with the originally included statuary ? I can't believe that one... weird that they used to include statues to sell an instrument . Cool lookin' organ, though .
Is this particular instrument something that you love to play ? 'Cause you could use that 400bones on a controller and software that will emulate a Wurlitzer,(and many others) but of course probably wont feel like an old 805 . The 805 is also quite a piece of furniture... I wouldn't want that hulk in my tiny studio... but then again I could mount a mirror in it, and act like Captain Nemo, and play insane music really loudly, then run outside and yell "ramming speed !"... that'd be kind'a cool !

Jan 04, 2007 02:47 pm Hey Peter, in mint condition that is a killer price. The tape unit was I believe to play a sort of karaoke for organ play along tape. The organ has a rhythm section and some cool added features. If it has the Orbit III addition that is worth a couple bucks more as well. I would say the price is about right for it. On the cheap side for the unit really. And hell ya, it is one big piece of furniture. Nice looking rig really.
