Behringer BCF2000

I am currently debating on getting a Behringer BCF2000 controller. I have heard good things about it, but I still have some questions. I use Pro Tools and was wondering if this is compatible with it? If so will I be able to arm recording tracks and edit waveforms using the controller or will I still have to use my mouse? Also what would some advantages of using it in fruity loops be?

I was told that this was the best controller with motorized faders for the price. What exactly are motorized faders? and Does anyone else have any suggestions for a better controller around the same price range?

Indeed the BCF2000 cannot be beat for features in that price range. I can't suggest anything even close to that price range in a control box such as that.

And yes, it is stated in several reviews and such that it works in PT LE and standard PT versions as well.

As for what a motorized fader is. Well it is motor driven for automation purposes. Some are touch sensative as well and simply pushing or pulling will engage the server motor to drive the fader smoothly up or down under your finger. But primarily they are for sending the fader movement data to a track and then during playback it will repeat your exact moves via midi machine control.

I ended up with company over here, sucks really. But it involves a parent going to the hospital and the kids needing a place to come to. And being the freaking sucker I am for people in need. Jeez, I gotta stop being so nice to everybody and think of myself for a change.
