Hey guys, I just finished covering another Blind Guardian song and would love any feedback regarding the overall mix, choice of guitar tones, drum realism, backing synth, and the vocals.

Hope you guys like it!

Nov 17, 2006 09:38 pm Had a quiet listen tonight, I will give a better listen tommorrow. But on first listen it sounds really good. The vocal parts didn't sound to bad at all.
I'll give ya some more input tommorrow for sure.
By the way, The Black Pearl piece is pretty kool. That sound track gets played in the car frequantly, and loudly as well. Its funny to see the reaction of people when they get the full on blast as we pull alongside of them, thumping away.

Nov 17, 2006 11:51 pm Hey there Noize!
Yea I'm definately a big fan of anything in the style of Hans Zimmer. Though Badelt did the first Pirate movie, I do believe ol' Zimmer had a hand in overlooking the score as well.

Nov 18, 2006 12:25 pm Yes, he did. He over saw everything as for the score. That is one of my favorite sound tracks for classical style like that.

Agreed, it is one of my favourites too. Right up there with some of the tracks from the Gladiator soundtrack.
