...well... it's not actually getting anything... :)

More of a "When I finally go out in some amaizingly cool fashion and appropriate blaze of glory... will you please let them know..." :)

I'm supprised it took me so long to write down on paper the sites I frequent and have friends at... and supprised that doing so hasn't caught on with others... especially in the legal community... I've typed thousands of wills myself and the issue of online notification wasn't even brought up.

...at the very least... what the hell happens to a paypal account? :)

Can I have your acoustic guitar when you die?

I think saying "I want my acoustic guitar to go to Colonel Sanders." will get it thrown out of probate... :)

Thanks, that will save us from thinking,"whats up with Zeck? he's just deserted us." Dont forget to leave your password in your will.;)

Ya know, I have thought about this as well, I have made good friends here and other places, as well as the host of the site HostPC, and it's owner Joe who I have become good friends with, should something happen, how would anyone know, my wife has no passwords or knowledge of such things...

It is something I have thought about too...

There are a few guys from back when I first joined HRC that we haven't heard from in a couple of years...I wonder every once in a while about what happened to Jamie Garrett, BlueNinjaStar, Jues and the like.

On another forum that I used to belong to, one of the regulars was in a terrible car crash and nearly died. His girlfriend signed on as him and posted updates to everybody, which was cool. But hell my wife wouldn't know the first thing about logging on here.

BlueNinjaStar got busy with life, I talk to him on I.M. every now and then, he bought a house, started consulting a lot to pay for it (houses in CA ain't cheap)...Jamie, well, now that kid is an interesting story, flame knows more than me tho...

You know that is kinda funny now that you mention it. I spend a good portion of my life tied to this site. Not really many others with the kind of connections here. But honestly the only one who could manage to do it for me would be Tuna, although Ray is getting a bit geekier these days. All my gear and music is laid out in my will as to who gets what. It used to be split up going in several directions. Now it is between Tuna and Robin. All the vinyl as well is to be split between the two of them. If Ray starts to show more interest though I may have to re-write it to include him as well.

I believe Jues dove headlong into their first full length album and was preparing for a long tour stint. I had a few emails back and forth with him for awhile then just kind of lost track.

Maybe I shouldn't bring this up, but I also heard something about Jues ripping off someone on the boards in a gear exchange and then disappearing... It might have been Jamie, actually.
