I like to mess around with electronics and was wondering if there were any guides on the internet on how to build your own mic capsule.
I've found plenty of buy a capsule and build a mic but I want to try my hand at the capsule itself :)

Sep 03, 2010 11:57 am I realize that this is a very old post. However, I would like to know if you had any progress on this. I just found it and I am also interested in the same thing. I was thinking of getting a good capsule as a sample and just copying every thing the way it is. Maybe if we can build one by making it exactly piece by piece what the sample have in it we will understand how to bulid one and from there we can improve on our own design and changes. Are you still working on this project? Hope so. Please let me know.
