For my band's website! Check it out. To view the old (lame) site, just click "no frames" on the enter page. Obviously, click "frames" for the new and improved design.

Dec 18, 2002 06:39 am Frames are the devil...it's good you learned to use them, cuz now you can learn why nobody does...it makes bookmarking pages hard, it will confuse the hell out of search engines trying to spider and index your site, browser back and forth buttons work unpredictably in some browsers, handicapped accessiblity issues...the list goes on.
DON'T USE FRAMES...YUK!
That said, however, what's with no link to HRC? Slacker! :-) In the frames site your link to "pics" opens in a new window, your target attribute must be mispelled...unless you wanted it that way...
Where did you get the pic of Grandma? Another forum I frequent has a person username "goodness" that uses that pic as their avatar and the figure is animated like she is saying "naughty, naughty" it's super funny.
OK, sorry, I know yoyu didn't ask for a critique, but I can't help myself when I see the evils of frames...ARGH! It drives me nuts, and actually, among the seasoned web development professionals, frames are often a joke used to insult other developers...kind of an "inside joke" of sorts I guess...I have met very, very few that can tolerate them. You are better off learning how to use tables to orginize your site rather than frames. IMHO.
And with that I now get to spend the next two work days in a technology conference for .NET, the new Microsoft platform for web apps...WooHoo, maybe I will get to goof on some frame users :-)

As for the grandma pic/animation, it's from an add that reads something like this.
Are you looking at porn on the internet? Super-duper drive cleanser will make sure you're relatives don't find out!

Dec 18, 2002 04:48 pm True, but there is a lot of room to be had growing the non-frames version. Frames is limiting and very un-user-friendly. Just a very bad bastardization of the HTML language. There are much better ways to rememdy the problems that many newbie web developers think that frames fixes at first glance.
And please, don't be insulted by anything I am saying, they are meant in the most productive and respectful manner that a criticism can be.
