I thought that they've known that for a while? Aren't they methane?

A lot of the dark areas on Titan may turn out to be just darker land but the lakes have river channels and futher fly by's should reveal more info.Water would freeze so the liquid could be methane or other hydrocarbons.

liquid ethane or liquid methane. just a few months ago they'd declared titan was 'as dry as a bone.' but they had been searching the lower latitudes. i guess what they thought were lakes turned out to be dead lake beds or something, i'm not sure. but they needed new evidence for these lakes, and it looks like they got it: in the high latitudes.

it'd be so strange to vacation there.
