well, according to various new proposed regulations, just because you bought it does not mean you have free use...the RIAA is trying to redefine "fair use"...that being said, I am sure there is a tool out there somewhere, but I have never had the need to look for it, so I can't tell you that.

I dunno, I didn't get that vibe personally...I didn't see some of the common giveaways of spam that I researched for, but it may be...

That said, I see SoundTaxi is looking for web developers...hmmmm

More importantly, making an app to circumvent protection that any artists/company wants to put on their own music kinda sucks.

I don't know about spam but my "piracy" flag went off. We throw a lot of names around on this forum, so just name dropping doesn't really tickle me as spam. Really, all he said was that he got Product A, that he liked it, and he posted a link for others to get it. This isn't spam to me, we see this all the time. "what's the best ______" "Oh this is, go here ____" "Thanks". I see this as kind of along those lines.

guess not...binned!

a few times the username of the poster, or email address can be found in the "contact us" pages of the site they link to, or other obvious things like that...didn't find any of that...I guess it was spam, and it was actually piracy.

we still got that option, this case I guess it was just better and easier to remove the whole post. I'm also locking this thread just because we don't need to go on raggin on people. If an admin wants to unlock it cool.
