hey im using a cubase lm-4 drum vst and i cant figure out why the kick drum is in the left speaker and the snare is in the right. this is driving me crazy. ive checked all possible panning possibilities and nothing seems to get things centered.

Does the LM-4 have its own panning and volume set up, either a master type or for each instrument? You might try looking into that.

It could very well be similar to my drum machine (though this is stereo) but the panning is set as per a real drum kit so you would naturally expect a tom fill for example to run say left to right...which for my thinking, enhances the sound?

It sounds good as the cymbals are smashed on either side, or the toms rolled from one side to the snare etc??

I like it anyways ;-)

That said, I cannot explain yer question though as Noize says, do ensure the panning on this channel isn't hard to either side (which would cause it ALL to be lopsided I must add tho).

Good luck buddy.

Coco.

yeah, it's probably panned 'per sample'....meaning each note on your keyboard has its own pan setting, check inside the sampler sofware...

that's my guess.
