I just bought the M-Audio Oxygen 49 keyboard controller and it came with Live Lite 5. Does anyone know if its any good and worth installing and learning that program?

Jun 02, 2006 10:46 pm It does some cool stuff. Its not a real heavy program and wont take up a huge pile of disc space. You might like it better then Cubase LE. Its kind of a loop oriented program, but does recording just fine.

Jun 03, 2006 08:48 am I was kind of annoyed by it as a multitracking app. It just has a different type of interface for recording. But like Noize said its more geared towards using pre-recorded loops (kind of like Acid), and using it in a live performance/DJ kind of setting. What is cool about it is that you can record loops on the fly and integrate them into your performance.
Even tho Live Lite came with my Delta card, I opted to use Kristal audio's freeware intead because its just more intuitive to me. I survived on that for over a year until I finally got a copy of Cubase SE.
