May 27, 2006 01:02 pm Somewhere, probably in the "File..." menu, there'll be an option to export an audio mixdown of your song. There should be options to export it as different file types, and .mp3 may be one of them. If not, then export it as a .wav file and there are lots of freeware utilities on the web that'll convert it from .wav to .mp3.
I use a freeware utility called FreeRip, which is actually CD ripping software. It just happens to include a tool that'll convert between .wav, .mp3.
May 27, 2006 01:13 pm if I go to File I see "export selected midi clip". But its gray meaing u cant click on it. Even if I click on the audio clip I recording it wont allow me to click on the exort thing...

May 27, 2006 02:12 pm Hmmm, that doesnt sound like what you're after. Is there an option for "mixdown"? I can't remember how to export a mixdown in Ableton, I only used it briefly.
If nobody else has an answer I can install it later and dig around for a way to mix down a project.
May 27, 2006 02:22 pm AH! I got it, I found what you were talking about. I still can't find the mixdown thing but upon looking in that area I found the Wav export thing. Apparently i didn't know what folder they the files were going in so I got it now. THank again man!!
