Hello! Just wrote and recorded a new song, and I'd love to get some comments on that one. It is an experiment in the sense that a lot of synth-sounds (most of them from the computer) are used instead of for example acoustic guitars. No drums and no base (though the lack of "real" instruments is barely possible to realize unless you're aware of it, I'd say). Instead vocal harmonies and maracas together with the 80's-influenced sounds dominates this one, which I'd deem one of the better ones I've made. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Mar 17, 2006 09:31 pm That was interesint indeed. I gotta say it was definately a pop tune, thats for sure. Very interesting choice of instruments as well.
I was going to download it, but the file was not an mp3 file it was trying to send me. I am not sure if it their player that gave it that kind of AM radio tone or if you intentionally did it that way.
I did as well here a bass line in there, so that replaces any need for a real bass. It didnt seem to need any drums either as it moved along.
Overall nice arrangement, and again a very poppy type tune. Who from the 80's would you say influanced that sound you have going there?
