Has anybody seen those in use or know of any recordings? I've never even thought of the idea.

yeah triggering electronic sounds from triggers mounted on an acoustic kit is pretty common, expecially in the live performance field....in the studio, it's safer to play the rubber pads because you don't get as many 'doubble hits' as you do with triggers mounted on real drums. i can't name any specific bands or whatever that use 'em, i know vinnie paul of pantera used D-Drum triggers on 'far beyond driven' and i'd bet my left pinkey the drummer from ministry uses them on everything. he's triggerin' like 9 different kick drum samples at once for his 'signature sound'....so yeah alotta industrial and metal bands use 'em, also i bet hip-hopsters with live kits use 'em alot.

i personally don't like them though. the doubble triggerin' SUCKS.

These are not triggers though. They are transducers, and not Piezo either. They look like they would work if their specs are all good.

I owned an acoutic with one of their transducers and pre amps in it. Excellant, but not cheap either. And they dont ship to the US as of yet, only Europe so far.

Maybe have to get Presley to check this out.

Prices' now convert what you saw to dollars from Euro's.

Presley, I know your not a drummer. I was thinking about someone who could check them out. And your the closest one to them I believe.

WYD, ya I thought they were triggers at first as well. Then I read much further down and discovered they were transducers. Nice stuff though as I said above.

I think I'll just stick with my Roland and call it good for now.

Yep, and my trigger kit is much quieter then a full on drum kit in the house.
