Ok i was messin around with this bad boy this morning and I have to admit it is a super awesome tool!

A couple questions though...

1) After I open up a wav file of a tune and I see it's high peak, low peak and middle avg. Do you guys just go into the Filter bank and select Rock or whatever it was called and just apply/record it and thats all you do? They should have called the function "Apply Filter' and not record it or whatever it is called.

2) Am I correct in that you can obviously create a filter from any track you like the sound of.

I spent only about 20 mins messin around with it this morning and I can see using this very surgically to really hone my tracks! It wont make me give up on using Wavelab but it will be an awesome go to tool after I do what I do in Wavelab.

I never use any filters, I just cut the extreme peaks and raise the extreme cuts...

Thanks dB for making me aware of this tool! It seems really musical and even bringing in an already mastered track and applying some cuts and boosts it doesnt alter (only improves) my initial work nor will it cause me to revisit any of my original mastering settings !!!

Fan friggin tastic !!!
