this is a tune that should have been played at woodstock....
Now on my website members.cox.net/tonyd1970 music page...

lemme know how it sounds...... its a little long, but i have a lot to say...

for a guitar and a vocal tough, it seems really full to me. maybe cause i played really really fast guitar.. dunno, its it the hands of the jury now...

I like how you are not processing your main vox anymore these days. I think it sound great as it is. Brings back some early folk memories for me. Late 60's early 70's. People just writing and singing about stuff. I used to get girls that way. Just write a song and put their name in it. Play it on acooustic and bingo.

Anyway, back to your tune. Was I just hearing the harmonica in my head or, wait no there it is again, louder this time. Nice touch, I bet the room next door always love it when your there.

Again, nice sound on the guitar as well as the vox. Keep em clean my friend and its all good.

Tony, you really need to be thinking about putting together your "In a Hotel" CD... This was really enjoyable, I really appreciate your style and the quality of these recordings. I'm playing it through my mixer so I can add a little wash of reverb and it sounds pretty cool that way... Vocal Plate selection on Lex MPX-500. Sounds like a quiet club. Ok, so now I added a little "bar ambience" you know, clinking glasses, people chattering, it's pretty cool that way... really enjoyed it!

Tony, I so agree with DungBeatle on that. You really should do a CD like that. I know I would definately listen to something along those lines.

DungBeatle, I am going to have to try that with Tonys tunes and see. Bar amibience sounds great, I can picture our misterD in a lounge allready, crooning away.

Yup, and if you got stories behind these; what you were doing, what you were thinking, how the day went, work/play, etc. you should journalize it... Heh, blog with associated music on a CD...

Does sound very full Tony. You're not just using yer SM57 still are you? Guitar sounds absolutely spot on. What are you recording with?

I'm with Noize on the Vox, sound much better clean with whatever subtle 'verb you're using.

Very nice song...

Nah nah tony my man...always good stuff aboot yer music buddy....that bit was like saying "Nah" (read as no) as in you are like the modern day Dylan (the singer/songwriter) WITHOUT his rubbishy voice .... to be honest, Dylan is a master songwriter but his voice REALLY gets on my nerves.

Whereas, you write some belting songs and I like yer voice...it suits yer music ... along with yer geeetaring ma man.

Good stuff...on ye go mate with the whisky!! Canny whack it mate.

Coco.

This is really a good one tony. Nice sounding mix, acoustic is nice and full but still clear not muddy, and I like the way you did the vocals on this one with less processing/effect.
