First gig with the new band last night!!!

Well guys...
The DMR played our first gig with the current lineup last night here in snowy Edinburgh...went down a big storm!!
Punters seemed to lap it up which is good, everyone was on form, the sound was top class and the mistakes were close to zero (and I am one BIG critic, especially of myself and my band).
Lovin it...got another booked for the 25th..canny wait!!! Should be a rockin time coming up for the DMR...I had forgotten how good it is to get out, play live and kick some ***! Aye, top notch stuff. Hopefully, the next gig will go down as well...
Biggest plus is, we made some cash as well (unusual for an unsigned band playing set with ONLY original songs)...so, we all got pretty bevied afterwards!! ROCK N ROLL!!!!!!!!

Mar 05, 2006 05:42 pm Nae MP3's mate other than the stuff of the demo I recorded...thats available on the website www.thedesmoinesriot.com - but none from last night...should have some pics tho - there were phones wi cameras a plenty!!!
We'll see, if so, I'll fire up a wee copy for ye buddy.

Maybe not! Just hearing about others having a ball doing it is good enough for me now.
