have you installed it yet? and does it fix anything that has not yet been fixed by other updates?

I don't think so, the only thing I know for sure that it does that no other fixes do is mark PC's that are using a couple of widely used reg codes that have been pirated. Apparantly there was one code in particular that has been used to register 90% of the pirated corporate editions, the company that owns it has worked with MS, they gave them a new reg code, and in the SP1 it looks for that code (and a couple others I think) and sets something in the OS to disable the OS in 3 days unless you call MS...or that is the story, I have that regcode and have installed it on an extra PC of mine and tried to instal SP1 just to see if it works or not, so I will tell you in 3 days. It also said it locks you out of Windows Update website, but I got there with it. AFter 3 days I will uninstall the OS and reinstall a legal copy anyway...I don't need Bill breathing down my neck. :-)

Most any thing else I think is downloadable. Here is some info:

www.windowsxpforums.com/ and that page has a serial there?!?!?! whats up with that?

{edit}
Also, there are gov't compliancy changes so they now fit with gov't requirements of letting people uninstall IE if they want to and crap like that...as well as added support for tablet PC's and not-yet-mainstream things like that.
