I'm going on a trip with my Windows laptop. I hope to get some recording done while I'm gone, but I need to do a a lot of MIDI sequencing for my drums. I've been looking around the web for a free / cheap MIDI sequencer for Windows. Somewhere in the $0-$20 range. The ones I can find are limited in some way -- either I can't easily insert tempo changes, or the notes are restricted to 16th-note grids, or I can't change the velocity, or I can't listen to stuff as I sequence it.
There's something very nice for Mac OS -- EasyBeat -- that does exactly what I want. There has to be something like it for Windows, right?
