need a good micto better capture the snare and to use closmicing the guitar, is there an industry standard or better mic than sm57 (i hope) $300-$600 range

Feb 07, 2006 07:34 pm Have a look at a couple of the Shure mics dedicated to drums. I forget the model right off and dont have time tonight to go looking. But if I get a chance I will search out a couple of models for you later.
