Hey, how do you get to review/evaluate toys? That would feed my addiction. I buy and sell toys like yankees

I dunno, it's not something I try to do, there are just companies out there that ask me to...Line 6 is one of the cooler companies I have grown to really like as a company, plus, their stuff friggin rocks...all the reviews on HRC are just products sent to me to look at and review, beta test or something...the trouble is sending them back...that makes me wanna cry...this TonePort is gonna be tough to part with.

that's strange, it seems like they're looking for people all the time.

Seems they need it too, as their sales guys (at least mine) takes a day or two to get back to me.

You'd probably kick butt with them. Maybe they wanted you to move ?

Jeez, its kind of hard to say. I love playing with all of my music toys...none of it has gotten old!

I mean between the feeling of rattling the house with my LP + YCV80, strumming a tune on my old Alvarez that's gotten nice and mellow with age, getting a great "snap" out of my Takamine nylon string, pounding a beat on the bongos, shaking a shaker, watching the lights dance on the MG10/2, hearing the clarity of my HD-280 phones...it all makes me smile.

The newer things seem to become instant favorites, so my Sennheiser HD-280 headphones would probably make the top of the list at the moment.

Usually all I have to do is put a new set of strings on an old guitar, and its new again to me!

New love:

My Smokey amp, through a 4x10.
Just rocks! One of the best raw guitar sounds I've ever heard.
It's like a raging stack, without the public nuisance arrests.

this is hard... my Sennheiser ME66K6 mic is very nice... and I really like My rackmount Fender 300 Bass amp which according to all the fender catalogs I've found apparently doesn't exist...

Yep, I'm with dB on this one. The TonePort UX-2 from Line 6 rocks solidly. I havent even gotten the thing opened full throttle yet either.

A close second would be Dimmension Pro from Cakewalk/RGC Audio.

I'd have to say right now , creating crazy tones with my Vox AD30vt paired with my PODxt, ( an interesting combo, could be over ill in the wrong hands) . I'm also getting a new Lefty Guitar soon so that will probably be my new fav.

My new fave toy is my Squier '51. I love tearing cheap guitars apart and modding the piss out of them! It sounds sweet as molasses too!
