About Doug Babbitt

Sound reinforcement hobbyist since 2008. I've always loved live music, especially local acts on the local bar circuit, but the sound is usually a disappointment. My first regular gig was with my brother-in-law's classic rock band for about 2 years, after which they went acoustic and decided they didn't need me (probably correct). At about the same time, my 14-year old joined a deathcore band. They do a couple of shows per month with various other bands and I do SR for free. It's usually a blast and the kids could not be more grateful. My next goal is to do live recording of my gigs, but I'm not ready to do SR and recording at the same time.
