Hi Guys

Well, here's the first, complete song I have done in a LOOOOOOOONG time...just me (No band!).

Ive been so busy with the band, I aint had any time to do my own stuff!!!!!

But, I still work away on it when I have time and this is the first song of my next EP. I have another 4 lined up to go with it...

Its kinda more "oganised" than my old stuff and I think, somewhat better but I let you guys deceide. More melodic I think, yet, still (I hope) ROCK!

OK, I'll let ye all have a listen, see what you think and hopefully, drop some feedback if ye have some time - much appreciated!

I done a good few parts for this but I now feel all I need to add is one backing track for vox...

So..over to ya!

Cheers

Coco.

Nice one Coco, kinda has a Bob Seger flow to it and it sounds ROCK to me! :) Real nice mix and LP sounds great for sure. Some backing vox would be a great addition.

This is a great start to your next EP, good to hear some new stuff from ya! :)

Hey Dan

Cheers for the listen - much appreciated.

I Agree with ye totally - the backing vocals shall be done soon and added on. I have a good idea in mind for those, just havent had the time to do them yet...but aye, defo needed. Main vocal has many bits that need some strengthening!

Cheers again bud

Really enjoyed this! Good sound, clean recording. I can't hear some of the drum fills on the toms, could just be the mp3 though. I love the intro! Looking forward to hearing those background vocals added in...

Hey coco, I'm leaving to go pick up Tuna. I will give it a listen later tonight or tommorrow. I am gonna try and get over to dB's place to watch a little of the UFC 57 if picking the kid up doesnt take to long.

I cant wait to hear a new solo bit from ya.

Dude, now that is the coco we know and love. Very nice tune indeed. As usual straight ahead rock and roll. I as well cant wait to hear the finished tune with backing vox.

Cheers guys...

Dungbeetle - cheers for the listen and the comments..appreciated for sure.

Aye, those fills were kinda bugging me too, I may see if I can boost the volume around the fills a bit...trouble with darn drum machines...cant tell it to smack em a tad louder without some work ;-) ! Ta again.

Noize - cheers again bud. Aye, I will defo be adding backing vocals into this, it sure as hell needs some around the chorus...Im thinking some nice higher versions of what I sing just now, just to make a more full, wholesome arrangement...

Cheers again bud for the props..

OK, offski to do some recording whilst the baby sleeps ;-) !

Cheers

Nice tune there, Coco.
Love the guitars. LP sounds fab, and the acoustic is right on the money.

Hey TallChap...cheers for the listen buddy.

Aye - experimented in this one...2 different Les Paul sounds - 1 on the first verse n chorus then to the heavier one for the second >> the end with 2 seperate acoustic tracks right the way thru.

I think, if possible, Im gonna go with this type of arrangement, plus some keys using ma new keyboard and some vST piano synths for all me new stuff...loving the keyboard I am too.

Aye - some backing vocals on this one, then, on to the next !!

Cheers again for the listen - much appreciated.

Hey Tony!

I'll depressing pop ye ;-) !

Aye, as soon as I get 5, I'll chuck the file to ya minus vocals and ye can do a version if ye like...

I did hear a few spots of ropey sound in teh vocals too which makes me want to redo em so I think, I will and do the harmonies/backing at the same time.

Cheers for the listen and feedback - mucho appreciatedo!

Coco,

As usual, top-notch stuff. Pretty good singin' for a geetar player!

It's a good song. Your songwriting continues to develop and improve as your style comes together.

Les Paul sounds priceless.
