Hey guys its Deeps here - this is a sample of mine featuring a realy popular producer/rap artist who did most of the McDonalds commercials and alot of top 10 tracks in the Urban/Pop scene in England.
This type of track is different for me so I appreciate all the feedback! Just a teaser clip...I produced all the music...
I am looking for a vocalist who would lend themselves for the track - If interested, send me an email: [email protected]

Thanks for the feedback in advance :)

Feb 01, 2006 11:26 pm Hey deeps, I took a quick listen tonight. I will give it another listen tommorrow when I have my head on straighter (long day at work). but from quick listen, I gotta say I liked the synth sounds you were using for sure as well as the drums. Nice indeed.

Feb 02, 2006 06:20 pm Deeps, the main melody line synth is awsome! What synth/patch did you use for that? The drums come in right up front but arent distracting at all. They push the beat along very nicely. Real crisp sound with a subtle kind of kick. I as well think the filtered patch that is kind of a hook line sounds great as well. The vox are right where they should be as well, nice hook to them.
What kind of vocalist are you looking for to fill in there?
Anyway, I cant wait to hear a finished product on this one.

Feb 02, 2006 08:00 pm Noize: thanks for taking the time to check it out. Your input is always solid! When the track is done we are pushing this into the Brit mainstream scene...
Which synth were you referring to? The one that kicks in after the chorus? The piano stuff in the beginging is all Triton and so is the sweeps!
Vocalist: Something along the lines of someone who can belt out a rock tune in a "pop"-ish way. So someone not so "rage" and someone not too on the Radiohead side...
Side note: If any groups/bands out there want that "hit" track I'm lending my productions now, contact me! [email protected]

Feb 02, 2006 11:10 pm Hey Deeps, the one I'm talking about is the real buzzing one that starts right with the vox at 9 seconds in. That is a killer patch whatever it is.
Ya the sweep one starts around 49 seconds or so in. That one fits nicely in there. Adds soem smoothness to it.

Feb 04, 2006 05:52 pm Noize: yeah that patch is all triton but sounds nothing from the patch that came with Triton, I ran a few vst effects to it to achieve that sound. I actually saved that as a preset, I liked the outcome!
