sorry been removed

old version removed- all you get is the best....
youve earned it!

heres the new one:
Now on my website members.cox.net/tonyd1970 music page...

Written from an old vampires point of view, hes old and depressed, but he just had a new bite to eat and is sorta explainin the ropes

this is another one, recorded in a hotel room with my laptop. I think i got some nice guitar in, well blended, well flowing, and some odd vocals that sorta tell the story.... you tell me.
as long as the ac didnt kick in, i got some clean quality stuff. its not as involved as the other stuff i hear round here these days, but i think it has an appeal.
thanks for the listen!

Well us Tony's have to stick together.

A good sound considering where/how it was recorded. Definitely a great sound on the guitar.

It was certainly original and made me listen to the lyrics which I rarely do, parts of it were very similar to some of the Stones stuff.

Great listen, thanks

Enjoyed this very much TonyD! Guitar sounds very full. I like your voice. Why are you recording in a hotel room?

Hey DungBeatle its cheaper than studio time :-D

I like the background vocal accents, I always love that kind of addition to a song. It really adds a lot to the song.

I always gripe about the direct acoustic so you know its coming, but I guess you can't really haul all the necessary junk around with you on the road.

Great on-location recording tho, well mixed. You definitely continue to show your understanding of EQ and the sonic spectrum. A good song as well, glad to know you get some time to be creative even though you seem to always be traveling.

Tony

Another top song!!! Very good effort.

Similar type of quality recording to I'm Lost (which I like by the way - specially the vid!).

Good work here on the guitars, like the lyrics and your typical vocals round it off nicely.

Direct acoustic seems to fit yer stuff real well so aye, big thumbs here ma man!

Excellent.

never mind

id like some input from guitar players- i played (for me) a heck of a lead at the end- listen for that!
lyrics- (co written with Chili) i took pieces of his poetry, hes amazed at the product and that makes me happy

Vampire-
dare you dive into the night, follow me through the darkness
could you sustain the chaos which is me
i move about like a dream in the fog along the street
seen but still, still a mystery

in this darkness, i see the light
and all my dreams will come, not from empty anymore
and i guarentee all your needs
and i can see the diffrence between the darkness and the light
(oh your soul is mine, oh youre soul is mine)

But now comes the light and as quickly as i came now i vanish once again. or so you think
alas, i am forever..... ya
hidden in the shadows and the places where the light does not go

but now, into my world you come (into my world you come)
oh the rooftops, my back yard, the streets my maze
and in this darkness i see clearer than the light (than the light)
makes everything alright
oh the light
its killin me now
(i see clearer than the light)
(i see, i see)
clearer
but now into my world you come
(into my world you come)
the roof tops my back yard, streets my maze
and in this darkness i see clearer (clearer than the light)
than the light

I really like it TonyD! Some parts seems to feel better in the first version to me. Hard to tell you what exactly those are. Dig the ending... I will listen again tomorrow, the mp3 is on another computer, and I'll be more specific... good work, dude!

I dont need to be loaded to attain the child within. Although that certainly helps hide the inhabitions, of which I dont have very many.

I suffer from PeterPan Syndrome. I dont ever want to grow up. Maybe that explains why I can listen to my kids music and still enjoy it. Or maybe its because they listen to mine as well. Either way, I'm not going to grow old gracefully. I'm gonna act like a kid untill I loose control of my stuff, then just pull the plug.

Oh ya, Loaded is a state of mind.
