acid 5.0 lag?

ive just purchased acid 5.0 and i am trying to record a live track over some drum loops, and its giveing me some trouble, it sounds like theres lag and then catch up like the program is trying to force beatmap my recording, even when i have that potion turned off, it still does it, this is very frustrateing and i dont have this prolblem with my 4.0 wahts the deal?

What's is the speed/specs of your PC? is perhaps Acid 5 more than your PC can handle?

That should be enough to run it according to their minimum spec.

What exactly are you using for an audio interface? That might be the culprit as well.
