I don't consider this to be finished, but I do think the skeleton might be there. I would appreciate any opinions on all aspects please.. mixing, composition, vocals etc.

I recorded it in one evening, with Cubase SE, Reason 3.0 and Adobe Audition. The drums are a loop, the rest is live. (strings are midi)

Fire at will.

Very well done Marcus D! I'm listening on my crappy speakers here at work so I'm sure they are not doing the song justice and therefore cannot comment on the mix.

You got great VOX man!

Overall great tune. I liked it a lot and so I listened to it again. I'll have another listen when I get home but even on my crappy speakers I can tell that it is a job well done!

I think the pads/strings are a little loud, could be set back a bit. Vocals are very, very nice! I think it could use a more contrasting section, but I'm not someone who really knows this stuff. There's some kind of jump/skip at the opening verse, where the voclist sings, "Every day" at about 0:30. Sounds like a looping error. Another click/pop at about 1:35, could be a glitch in the download... Then it jumps/skips at about 1:59 at at 2:29... A very nice song though, enjoyed listening!

Wow, nice vox for sure. And the tune is great as well. I did not get the quircks DungBeatle got so it may have been the stream or a glitche in the DL.

I do agree the pad/strings could go back in the mix just a tiny bit to let the guitar come forward a tiny bit as well. The drum loop worked in there as well. I would definately add a lead line in there as well as a bridge out to the last verse and then add a bit of something differant to bring the piece to an end.

I as well will have another listen tommorrow a bit louder and let you know if I can think of anything else.
