I was grabbing my les paul of my bed and and I dropped it onto a piece of metal. Now it has a dent on the neck :'(...
Its not serious but is there any way anybody knows of to hide it a bit, or even get rid of it?
I'm going to bed before I cause more damage.

Jan 15, 2006 08:59 am I would suggest some hard drying epoxy or something that you can put in the dent, let dry, then smooth down...
Is it on the fretboard or the back of the neck?

Jan 15, 2006 03:54 pm Yep, the fix kinda depends on were the dent is. The epoxy dB suggerted is a good alternative for the back side. But the fretboard is another matter depending again on exactly were the dent is.
Jan 15, 2006 05:23 pm Its on the back of the neck, not the fretboard.
Where would I find the epoxy stuff?
Jan 15, 2006 05:25 pm at an epoxy store...duh. :-)
OK, I would think any home improvement or hobby store would have such a thing...

Jan 15, 2006 08:50 pm My guitars hang on the wall's. Cases are tucked away and rarely used these days as I dont play out anywhere anymore.
Jan 16, 2006 02:50 am Due to my clumisness, ALL my axes are in cases....and only my oldest, beaten up acoustic reamins out with my semi-acc on the guitar stand for when inspiration strikes ;-)
Nah, I learned the hard way Sanders...chips here there and everywhere not to mention that auld "Its oot so I'll play it...at 3am when I am a bit drunk.... ;-( !!
