Dec 26, 2005 05:19 pm System wise you look good. Isnt the 424 mk3 a recorder? You can use it as a mixer but you may eventually want to purchase a dedicated mixer of some kind. It would give you a few more options as far as routing signal and such.
Newbie needs advice on parts

I want to do some guitar tracks and see what happens before I get into a big bucks system.
So far I have a Sony CD-R/RW burner, WD 80gig 7200 rpm hd, Cubase SE, EMU 0404, Windows XP w/SP2. I'm about to add a barebones computer w/ 3+ gig processor, 1 gig+ memory and video card, 17" flat screen monitor and a Tascam 424mk3 as a mixer.. How am I doing so far? Thanks in advance.
