Any recommendations for one of these? I know m-audio has one but it is slightly pricey. I am doing a production course and my teacher says that these can really help to get a good drum sound using samples etc... Especially because it is much easier to perform well on these than on a keyboard.
here be a link to what I is talking about

Dec 25, 2005 01:00 pm those things are alright, but i'd probably use something like this personally...especially as it seems cheaper once i convert the prics to the same currency

Dec 26, 2005 01:13 am Hey Mauz. Drum trigger's are not cheap really. But if you look around on eBay and such there are some of the Roland units that have like 6 or 8 pads on the in one unit that you can pick up pretty cheap.
But that set flame posted is the cheapest I have seen for a small kit like that, even after converteing to US funds.

Dec 26, 2005 10:39 am pretty sweet price. There's gotta be a catch. I know those babies can cost up to a few grand..

Dec 26, 2005 02:34 pm I doubt there is a catch, it is just a budget kit. And I would assume the sounds on the supplied brain might not be of the hgighest quality. But if you allready have good drum sounds in software or what have you, then it wont really matter.
