I got some UnderArmour, a MN Vikings Christmas tree ornament, a heated bed pad (been whining for one of those for a while) a cool laser-level on a tripod for my home improvement work...and a few other things which I am too ill at the moment to recall...

My kids are spoiled, I did learn that... :-)

I bought myself a new laptop...haha. Word to the wise: if you're going to do any gaming on your laptop, spend the cash on the 7200rpm hard drive.

"go fast" parts are always fun... until they "go fast" in different directions...

Well, yesterday I posted that I got a lame fake kerosene heater painted with a nice eagle on it. As I am an eagle freak.

Anyway, I found out today it is not a fake. It is the real thing. Approx. vintage is between 1945 to 1950 I am told. The painter will confrim the date next week. It has a little yellow party buld instaled in it to emulate the heater glowing while burning.

$200.00 from the inlaws which will go toward either Native Instruments B4 II or a nice speaker rig for the drum trigger kit. Might possibly go for a suround system in here though. Cant decide, gonna have to sleep on it.

My family ordered me a Mesa Boogie DC5 combo amp off ebay... the genius they bought it from didn't pack it too well and half the tubes busted.

Still, I'm stoked as hell about it.

Not as awesome as previously thought.

I replaced the busted tubes, and the amp's not sounding great. The reverb is busted too... I'm gonna take it in and have a real tech look at it this week...

Wifey bought me a nice jacket,if I'd got one for myself it would have been cheaper and looked crap. She was pleased with her pressie too.5th series of West Wing. She's a TV fan ideal for a busy ageing local muso! Just changed my valves and had new valve seats fitted, only cost £20,but the old guy that fixes everything are a rare breed and dont like too much attention,(shed dwellers)

For the studio, I got a copy of Cubase SE. I'm pretty excited to get it all configured. I didn't do it yesterday because I also received a 1.75 Liter bottle of Chivas Regal, so I wasn't able to read the getting started manual :)

Other than that, I got a couple of really nice golf clubs, and some much-needed clothes to replace my tattered ones.

I bought my wife a Tivo, so once I get the wireless adapter in the mail, I'll be sharing in that as well.

I got a bunch of random stuff. How about a bottle opener that says "Ayyyyyye, tiempo para una cerveza" when you crack open a bottle. Plus a twelver of XX (Dos Equis) to go with it. Got some money from my dad (laziest gift giver ever). I think I'll prolly spend it on a DVD writer and a 512mb stick of RAM.

No musical anything....
No Mesa Boogie....

New robe (much needed)
DVD's of a bunch of Monty Python films
DVD of Greta Garbo in "Camille" (Greatest movie ever)
Stoneware baking pan (I jest not)

I bought myself a rotisserie attachment for my barbecue.

The best part was I got to spend the weekend with 'er indoors, and my kids. I am the worlds greatest "BC Builders" assembler.

I gave 'er indoors a CD (complete with artwork on the jewel case) of a song I wrote for her. She cried. Hopefully, that should buy me a few more precious, uninterrupted hours in the studio. By the way, the MXL990 mic that I previously was unhappy with was utterly lovely sounding. Must have had the gain staging just right.

For my B day (the 20th) i got a digitech bad monkey (not too bad and not too noisy). Nothing for the studio for christmas but we recieved a new digital camra (sweet) and a bunch of stuff for the baby from the fam, from our friends it seemed like they felt like they needed to replenish our booze. I think I got at least $300+ of bottles that will collect dust ( my wife and i don't party that much any more and i stick to beer now)

$300.00 worth of booze for Xmass. I want your friend's.

But then again, I dont party too much anymore either. Except for this new years. Got a bunch of hotel rooms at a nice hotel and we are gathering with a pile of friends and their kids for swimming, drinking, relaxing, drinking, more swimming, drinking. Well ya get the idea.

Enjoy...in my cupboard still is 24 cans of beer and a nice bottle of Smirnoff as well as some Glenmorangie single malt!

I hadn't mentioned that I too got some nice malts. Four nice bottles in the cupboard.
New Year's Eve is going to be a tough one...my "Scotch drinking buddy" has just stocked his cupboard too.....
