Very cool - very minimal...nice!

What did you use to make it synth wise etc?

Sounds good though bud...nicely done. Simple and effective.

Cheers

That's great.

I've been working on a song that uses a very, VERY similar chord progression. I could never find a way to properly articulate it on guitar (kept sounding like George Harrison "Give me love...").

I may have to STEAL your idea for MY song.
Banditos afoot.....

Really, very cool stuff flame.

P.S. Still gonna steal it....YOU'LL NEVER KNOW!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (right, 'cos I'm the world's best keyboard player....MIDI? Schmidi...)

Flame, you have become a minumalist. I love it, indeed I do. I love the melotron stirngs you used, very soothing to say the least. And the VB1 is just right for that piece. I liked the music box part as well.

I am listening to it over and over and over. Very pleasing to the ear.

Most of mine is done, save for the wife as the boys and I dont go out and do her's till Xmass eve. She is a big snoop so we dont bother thill the last minute. Bad thing in this house is Rays B-Day is Dec. 17th and mine and Tuna's fall on the 20th and 26th of Jan. respectively so shopping this time of year is hell in this house. But ya, mostly done.

Ouch, I feel your pain Geoff. You do have it much worse then I. But I still hate this time of year. One good thing, the snow keeps coming. Little by little, its getting deeper.

OH ya, Genisis on the mandolin, I wanna hear that!!!

Snow, heck ya. I shoveled more this year so far than all of last year. Not complaining either. Last night I grabbed me a couple of beer's, went out and started shoveling the last of the light stuff. Pulled out a nice camp chair, and settled in with a smoke and a beer, right there in the driveway. The neighbor asked if he should bring the ice auger over as I looked like I was thinkin about ice fishing. Nah I said, just watching the last of the little snow flakes come down and enjoying the 30 some degree temprature which is nice this time of year here.

What's "shoveled" mean? I have this cool thing with a spinning blade that grabs snow and shoots it out this tube about 15 feet away...

Ya, Ya, I got one too. I have just felt like pushing the bloody stuff around. A little exercise never killed me yet. And I did enjoy just being outside for awhile and looking at the snow, while its still white.

Just a question about Christmas instrumentals - does anyone know the name of that tune (I think it's from the 70s) with the cool guitar solo? It's completely instrumental but the lack of lyrics means that I can't get the name of it for the life of me!

Thanks in advance

Christmass Eve in Sariajevo or may just be refered to as Sarajevo. It is done under the name Trans Siberian Orchestra and as well was released by the band who is in essance TSO, they are Savatage.

Absolutely one of the best Xmass instrumental's out there.

I really like this one. Simple and to the point but it sounds very nice. I think you and I had similar ideas on our Christmas tunes. :)
